8-Week Structured STEM + Maker Experience
An immersive, hands-on studio program where creativity meets real tools. Over eight structured weeks, students learn professional maker workflows inside a focused, small-group environment.
Most after-school programs rotate simple projects. Collab teaches process.
Students are introduced to real production equipment, design logic, and structured problem-solving. They learn how ideas move from concept to finished product — safely, thoughtfully, and intentionally.
Every session builds on the last. Every week produces something real. Every child leaves with skill, confidence, and tangible work they created themselves.
Each week introduces a new process while reinforcing previous skills. The arc moves students from guided builds to independent creation.
Students create their official Collab Founder Studio Shirt using DTF or screen printing workflows, plus engrave their personal Maker Badge.
Students transform an image of their choice into a laser-cut puzzle.
Students assemble a laser-cut 3D model — a dinosaur, architectural structure, or vehicle.
Students build a working mechanical device using cams, linkages, or clamp systems.
Students create a multi-layer laser-cut art or map panel with depth and dimension.
Students engrave their own tumbler using rotary laser workflow.
Students explore full-color sublimation and heat transfer science. They choose one substrate to create their project:
Students choose their preferred process and create an independent final project. Families are invited to celebrate the completion of the arc.
Students who complete all eight weeks earn official Studio Spark certification — the foundation tier of the Collab Studio progression.
Priority scheduling is given to students enrolled in the full 8-week arc to maintain continuity and studio cohesion.

Collab Kids Studio is the foundation of a long-term creative pathway. Students move from Spark to advanced Maker programs, where they deepen skill, explore specialization, and continue building real studio experience.
This is where young creators begin.
